LG Flowers is actively trying to enhance the kinds and colors of the gerbera’s. After years of experience in enhancements in the gerbera’s, Lansbergen Gerbera’s has got a fine assortment of gerbera plants created with the best qualities. At the moment Lansbergen Gerbera’s has got around 40 different kinds of gerbera plants with the best performances.

New gerbera plants

The discovered gerbera plant is firstly to be multiplied. After this it is being grown in one of our production greenhouses. This new plant is tested at all kinds of attributes, such as Length, Sensitivity, Firmness, number of flowers per m3 etc.

After this test section, the flowers is being tested in the Testcentrum Aalsmeer for flower quality. If the flower succeeds this test we will give the plant free for the market. The plant is now ready to sell or to produce at a lager rate.
